Louisville PhotoBiennial Reception: Celebrating Bryan Moss & Harrison County Arts Photography Members

About I Don’t Believe We Are In Corydon Anymore

Before Life in Corydon, photojournalists Bryan and Mary Jo Moss set out from their hometown to pursue their careers.

In an era when newspapers rarely hired married couples, Bryan and Mary Jo adapted. Taking turns following each other to their jobs led them across the country. From the streets of Louisville and Tallahassee to the sprawling cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco, from the rugged beauty of Denver to the quiet corners of Evansville, their journey was both professional and deeply personal.

This exhibition features a curated selection of photographs by Bryan Moss captured outside Corydon. Each image reflects his sharp eye for humanity, place, and moment. These visual narratives, full of movement and life, not only document a career in motion but also trace the heartbeat of American cities through decades of change

About the Shutter Show

Presented by Harrison County Arts and in conjunction with the Louisville Photo Biennial, this compelling new exhibition showcases the diverse talents of our cooperative gallery’s photographers. Each artist presents a curated selection of work that reflects their unique perspective, technique, and visual storytelling style.

From intimate portraits to dreamlike landscapes and abstract explorations, Shutter Show celebrates the power of photography to capture the world in strikingly different ways. United by their shared commitment to the art form but driven by distinct voices, these photographers offer a multifaceted view of the world around us.

Join us for an inspiring journey through light, shadow, emotion, and form—where every image tells a story, and no two visions are the same.
